In early 2008, I was unhappily retired; I missed people contact. Volunteer activities took up some time – but I wanted something more. From boredom, Busted Ladies Lingerie was born. We considered locating in Red Deer, or Lacombe – but ultimately decided to “stay local. ” We opened on October 12, 2008, in a beautiful historic building located in the heart of uptown Ponoka. The Bible says that “We are all wonderfully made;” that philosophy was - and still is -applied to our business....
